Universe: Count all stocks in your ChartMill watchlist or S&P 500/1500 universe by current Weinstein stage. New S2: Stocks that transitioned INTO Stage 2 this week (WS Length = 0 in Stage 2 screen). New S4: Stocks that transitioned INTO Stage 4 this week (WS Length = 0 in Stage 4 screen). Interpretation:
S1+S2 ≥ 70% → Bullish — strong participation, favour long bias
S1+S2 50–70% → Neutral/Mixed — selective approach
S1+S2 < 50% → Bearish — majority in decline, defensive posture
New S2 > New S4 → Improving tape — breakout pulse positive
New S4 > New S2 → Deteriorating tape — breakdown pulse negative Source: Use ChartMill stage filter counts or manually count from your weekly scan results.
